Dora’s Bag plus New Haircut

After almost two months vacation from school my daughter Kyla will go back to school. Their classes will start on June 13 right after the celebration of Independence Day. She is not yet ready oh my! She told me last time that she doesn’t want to go school anymore. She is willing to go if her previous teacher will be the one to take in-charge of the class. Sadly, this is not possible because she is now in kindergarten. Well, I have to use my convincing power once again, hahah! Anyway, I bought this Dora bag for only $1 or around Php40, cheap no? This Dora bag is not genuine because I bought it somewhere but I find it cute and very affordable so I grabbed it. And for me the design is almost similar in dora’s bag selling at the mall.

Before I bought Dora’s slipper at the mall I knew its genuine product from Nickelodeon because of the price. In the market it can be bought on a cheaper price. After couple of moths using it I noticed the prints are already peeling. Just like her other slipper bought at the mall this time with Disney princesses on print. In just two months, I saw the print peeling as well. I realized we are just paying for the name of one particular product but the quality is doubtful. Reason why I bought this Dora’s bag its fine if it will fade in a month or two, its understandable because of the price =).

Anyway, as I said Kyla’s school will start in less than two weeks so I decided to bring her in a salon. This is the second time she went to a salon and has had her haircut and just like the previous visit she keeps on wriggling on the chair while doing the trim. Thankfully, after almost 30 minutes she has new look. This is the first time her hair cut that short, its cute bias eh, heheh!

I got you…some products sold inside and outside the mall are just with the same quality, only priced differently. You’re being wise. Your daughter’s cut is so Dora-ly cute. 🙂

My daughter started school today, and I have to admit that I’m more nervous than she is 🙂

I hope your daughter will have a happy back-to-school experience on the 13th.

I somewhat agree with you. The quality goes with the price but meron din matibay kahit mura. 🙂

Dora is very popular to little girls. You’re right not all products bought in the malls are of high quality. Minsan frustrating talaga dahil ang mahal tapos madaling masira. 🙂

How exciting getting your little girl ready for school. My daughter loves Dora too.

  16. Cute! And the price is so affordable too.

When I was gonna start nursery school, my lola had to bribe me with a Rainbow Brite lunchbox. Hehehe! =)

  17. Gelo says:

what a cute little girl, my two little girls like barbie, but they love dora too

  18. Rovie says:

We actually have the same principle when it comes to buying something for the kids but sometimes I indulge on expensive things for Bella…

Kyla is getting bigger and prettier… 🙂

Thankfully nothing untoward happened to your princess while she was getting her trim! That is always a worry for me even with my 8- and 6-year old sons. They just couldn’t keep still! On another note, that Dora back is really cute. I can’t wait until my own little princess goes to school too.

Your little one looks so adorable! 🙂 I definitely agree that most of the time, we just buy the brands and not the product itself. Kaya ako, I really inspect the items, consider their durability and not just purchase based on the brand.
